Event Rescheduled

Due to the wildfire smoke causing poor air quality, we have rescheduled the Hilton Superhero Challenge. The new event date will be Saturday, November, 4, 2017 at 8:00 am. Keep training and we'll see you in November!!!

2017 Hilton Superhero Challenge

Our 2017 event has brought some course changes. This year, we have increased from a half to a Super-Sized Half, with a 14-mile run! We will run the river loop that starts and ends at Depot Park in Prairie City. 10K participants will be bused to the start line on Summit Prairie Road and 5K participants will run out and back on the Summit Prairie Road.

The top male and female finisher for the Super-Sized Half will receive a Garmin Forerunner 35! The top male and female finisher for the 10K will receive a Garmin Vivoactive smart watch! The top male and female 5K finisher will receive a Hydroflask! All run/walk participants will receive a commemorative pint glass. Additionally, all run participants will be entered in a raffle for a season pass to Anthony Lakes Resort.

Children are invited to join us for Superhero Tryouts! This free event will include an obstacle course for all ages. Participants will receive a fidget spinner.

This Week's Every Day Hero: Foster Parents

Throughout our community there are quiet every day heroes that you may or may not know.  They open their homes to children in need.  Children that are not their own, yet they welcome them into their homes.  Foster parenting is a selfless act that can be rewarding and heartbreaking all at once.  So this week we would like to recognize all those that are or have been foster parents.  You have one of the toughest jobs and we want to thank you.  Not everyone can do what you do. 

This Week's Every Day Hero: The Haney Family

The word hero brings to mind several traits: courage, grace, perseverance, strength, to name a few. The Haney family has been chosen as a standout on our Every Day Hero Wall. Those who know the Haney family, have seen those traits daily. Through difficult times, they have shown great strength and grace. Julia has continued to grow and make gains that many thought were not possible. In addition to those heroic qualities, the family has continued to be involved in the community.
